Thank you, landowners
None of our 24.5 miles would exist without the families, farms, and businesses who let the trail cross their land.
From the club
Our trails run on trust
Every winter, local landowners open their fields, woods, and back lots so riders can get from Edgar to Stratford and everywhere in between. They do it for free, and they can say no any year they want. When they say yes, it's because riders have earned it.
To every landowner along our trail: thank you. The club works hard to keep the trail marked, maintained, and respectful of your property, and we want to hear from you whenever something isn't right.
Optional: a line about the club's annual landowner thank-you (dinner, gift, etc.) if there is one.
Ride respectfully
Rules for riders
- Stay on the marked trail.Everything past the signs is private land. Riding off trail is trespassing and it's how trails get closed.
- Respect closures. If a trail is closed or rerouted, it's for a reason. Don't go around the sign.
- Slow down near homes and buildings.Keep it quiet and keep your speed down through yards, farms, and town.
- Leave nothing behind.Pack out your trash. Don't disturb fences, crops, livestock, or equipment.
- Ride sober and in control.Know Wisconsin's snowmobile laws. See the DNR snowmobile page.
For landowners
Something wrong on your land?
If riders are leaving the trail, a sign is down, or you need the route changed, call one of these two directly. They can get it fixed.
